Eastfield BMX Club holds monthly race meetings

When?
4th Saturday of every month, practice every Saturday morning weather permitting.

What time?
Riders must check in no later than 1:30pm. Racing begins at 2:00pm and generally finishes by about 4:30pm.

How do I get there?
We are located on Colchester Road, Kilsyth, Victoria. (Melways ref. 51 E7)
There is signage out the front and plenty of off street parking.

What are the cost involved?

• club membership costs approximately $60 for one year.
• a BMX licence is required and is paid to BMX Australia. The current fee is approximately $70 for one year for a full open class licence.
• BMX Australia intro day licence for use on a club day is $15.

Do I need special equipment?

• 20 or 24 inch BMX bike - please remove reflectors, chain guards, bike stands, pegs and mud guards.
• long pants or shorts with full knee and shin guards.
• long sleeved top.
• gloves.
• shoes and socks.
• full face helmet. Available for loan to new members.

What happens when I arrive on race day?

• riders are generally placed in their own age class.
• bikes checked and some safety gear available for newcomers.
• every rider receives a momento.
• canteen open with hot food, drinks and snacks.
• have lots of fun and make new friends.
